Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect when you book a flight, why we hold it and how long for.

What we collect

• Traveller details needed to issue a ticket: name, title, date of birth, and for international travel the passport number, nationality, issue and expiry dates.
• Contact details: email address and mobile number, so the airline and we can reach you about the flight.
• Booking and payment records: itinerary, PNR, ticket numbers, amounts, and the payment reference returned by Razorpay.
• Basic technical data written to our server logs when you use the site.

What we never store

Card numbers, CVV and UPI credentials never reach our servers. Payment is handled entirely by Razorpay, and we keep only their reference and the status of the payment.

Who we share it with

Traveller details go to the airline (through our consolidator) because a ticket cannot be issued without them. Payment details go to Razorpay. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. The technical request logs we keep for certification are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Your choices

Write to info@visafir.com to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to have your account deleted. We may need to keep booking and invoice records even after an account is closed, where the law requires it.
