Terms of service

These terms cover your use of the Visafir flight booking site. By searching, booking or paying you accept them.

What we do

Visafir is a travel agent. We search fares, make bookings and issue tickets through our airline consolidator. The flight itself is provided by the airline, and the airline's own conditions of carriage apply to your journey. We are not the carrier.

Fares and the service fee

Fares change constantly and are only held once the airline confirms them. If the fare changes between your search and the review step, we show you the new price before you pay. On top of the airline fare we charge a service fee, shown as its own line in the fare breakup, together with GST on that fee. The total shown as "amount payable" is what your card is charged.

Your details must be correct

Names must match the photo ID or passport you will travel on. Airlines charge to correct a name, and some do not allow it at all. Check the spelling, date of birth, passport number and contact details before you pay. We are not responsible for a rejected boarding caused by details entered incorrectly.

Payment and ticketing

Payments are taken through Razorpay. A ticket is issued only after the payment is verified and the airline confirms the booking. If the airline rejects a booking after payment, we refund that payment in full. Held bookings are released automatically if the airline's deadline passes before payment.

Passports, visas and check-in

Travel documents are your responsibility: a valid passport, any visa required by your destination or transit country, and any health requirements. Check in with the airline within its own deadlines. We can tell you what the airline has recorded, but we cannot waive its rules.

Liability

Our responsibility is limited to the service fee you paid us for a booking. We are not liable for delays, cancellations, schedule changes, denied boarding or losses caused by the airline, nor for events outside our control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at NAURANG HOUSE, 1304(1404, Atul Grove Road, Janpath, Connaught Place, New Delhi, Delhi 110001 have jurisdiction.
